Description
The listing, HARRAH'S 1995 LIMITED EDITION .999 STEAM BOAT $10 SILVER STRIKE TOKEN has ended.
Harrah's 1995 Limited Edition Steam Boat $10 Silver Strike token, which is 42mm in diameter and comprised of a .999 silver center core weighing in at .60 Troy ounces. It is surrounded by a HGE (Heavy Gold Electroplated) brass ring that is inscribed to describe☺. This is the perfect time to purchase silver because the price for silver is presently extremely due to the lovely state of our economy. It's the gift that keeps on giving. You know the one; the gift you hope to never receive, yet year after year you get the same gift from the same relative (Congress), thus the last photo, which I found particularly humorous.
Limited Edition "Silver Strikes" were issued between 1995 and 2010 and folks were able to win these sought after prizes in select slot machines in the different casinos. You can still win these in a few different Casinos. I actually have this exact token and one other that I won on this site from the most incredible seller on Listia. His username is "oddgallery", and you should definitely check his auctions; but don't be driving up the bids on the stuff I want to win! This will come in the clear protective case shown. Thanks for stopping by!
Questions & Comments
Very, Very Nice! You should do well....you made an Awesome presentation and it looks Beautiful (makes me really want it!) Thanks for the nice comments.
From what I understand about these old casino coins; the $7 ones like mine that I mentioned earlier actually have a slightly higher silver content than these $10 coins. You guys all seem to know a thing or two, can anybody tell me if this true?I just want all the info I need before I list so I have a better idea of what it's worth.
Actually they do. I believe I just read it's .65 Troy ounces. If you wanted to check this, the website for the Silver Strikers Club has a lot of good information including a page with so many counterfeit silver strikes listed state by state and casino by casino with photos (if you click the links). Who knew!
Thank you, Bill! I think it's pretty neat. Kept one of the same for myself. I have a few if you want to see about trading. I'm never going to get Ceasar's Palace Horn Blower or Excalibur Kissing Maiden. I have Jouster Knight and I believe the Chariots, but not sure.
Well Jerry you already had the winning bid. It's you we have to bid against and beat. Your as tough a competition as any of us even more so when your really wanting it. Shoot you and Tracey make me give up more then anyone so do not think I'm not worried about you. I really hate seeing you have a bid on something.
It means they better bid big if they want to win. Not even being mentioned by Steven as a potential winner, wat??? Therefore they need to dig deep into they're available credits if they want this one:)
That's what I thought. I'm thinking Steven may be out on this one, unless he's able to get some credits. This is one reasonable long auctions are helpful!
