Description

The listing, EXTREMELY RARE, NEW CONDITION, 48 YEAR OLD TROLL DOLL! PRISTINE!! has ended.

I have had so much confusing information come in from different people on this doll that i put at gin should anyone want to offer one. thank you. everyone. this rare 6" troll is made by the "uneeta doll co. inc. 1966" marked (on the back of the neck). i see no other marks on this troll. this troll is in new condition found stored in an attic. it is in original condition. at its widest point it measures 5" wide. **** i have not cleaned it or altered it in any way. i have not done anything to the hair such as brush it down or out. **** troll does have a naked little butt and has "rn" in red on her left chest. *** i believe my auctions are fair, and i am an honest person. *** i provide the best possible information & photographs that i can at the time. i do not believe in return credits unless i simply do not mail out your item(s). i am available for any questions you may have and you need not bid if you wish not to. if i am not offering a gin on a specific auction you are welcome to offer a gin although i do not always do them. verified address for shipping only. should you decide to bid on my auction i wish you the best of luck bidding. if anyone can appreciate the rarity of this troll. starting price is based on rarity, age, & condition. i appreciate you taking the time to view my auction. i really do.thank you. jo

Good luck with the auction! I love troll dolls! JUST FYI: The original maker of Troll Dolls was the DAM company of Denmark. DAM trolls are the most expensive troll dolls on E-Bay. Uneeta, and several other names also marketed Troll dolls in the 1960's - 1980's. This is a nice troll doll, but just wanted to let you know that you may nave been misled as to its value. I know some collector will want this. Cheers!

Thank you very much for the information. I will take it back down to 25,000 points, you know, someone told me the other day that he paid $10.00 for 6,666 points. online. That would put this bid at a start price less than $40.00 and I feel like that is fair given the age and condition of the doll. Thank you for the well wishes. I hope someone will want to give it a good home. That is my biggest desire. Jo

I'm a big fan of trolls! Just collecting it and I have 3 vintage DAM and 2 of it is from Norway (Troll is the National Doll of Norway) ... then different brands so far... I've got 40+ pcs already and keep collecting it if there's a chance.

Hi, I never know if messages from my email go through or not. It may be the year of this Troll and the company at that time. There was a filthy card that could not be saved that was not stored with it that said Rub my hair for good luck. It definitely never stood up. I did not try to look up the company. Thank you for looking at my auctions.

These are the best photographs that I can provide of the stamp on the back of the neck. Maybe you can enlarge them. They say exactly what I stated in the auction. I am sorry this is the very best I can provide you. I tried to put them in at the beginning as well, but they look the same. Hope this helps you. Thank you for viewing. Jo

I will try. It will be a little while. I tried before, but I only have a basic camera so I doubt it is going to show up very well.

All the information is on what I provided in the auction other than I believe it was made in Hong Kong if I am not mistaken. I read the information on his neck with a eye glass. My vision is poor, I do know the date was on there like 19 C 66

There was a filthy piece of paper not wrapped with this doll that was too old to salvage. All it said was "Rub My Hair For Good Luck". I don't think this troll ever had hair that went up. May have been the company or the age of it. Thanks for looking. Jo
