Auction is for ONE 12.5" polished Baltic amber teething necklace in the color of your choice. They are "bean" style beads, and knotted in between each bead. They have a twist style clasp. Choose color from the photo above. Listed clockwise, starting from the lightest one, they are lemon, honey, cognac, cherry(sorry, sold out), and multi. Sourced from Lithuania, they are genuine Baltic amber.

i am just curious if these necklaces are for teething , is their a chance that the beads could come off or necklace break and a baby could maybe start choking on these ??? just wondering , cause these beads seem small not something i would want my small infant to be teething on . watching

I'm sorry that I didn't get to your question yesterday, it was a crazy day! The necklaces are called teething necklaces, but they are NOT meant to be chewed on. They help with teething by relieving pain. They are meant to be worn short enough that baby can't get them into their mouth, but on the off chance that s/he does bite one off, the beads are small enough that they wouldn't pose a real choking hazard. Baltic amber is completely non-toxic, so there are no worries if one is accidentally swallowed.

ok so i googled it and found the answer for myself ; i was not trying to be funny with my question above , i had just really never heard of these before , but now i have an understanding , great item if they really work and again not knocking your auction , i would just have to try it out on a baby to see if it really works to be a believer and if i had these when my kids were little 20 yrs ago i would have tried them

No worries, I didn't think you were trying to be funny. :) In my personal experience, and that of my family and customers, most people LOVE them. Out of the hundreds that I have sold/given away, only two people said that they didn't notice a difference. It never hurts to try, and even if it doesn't "work" for you, it is still a beautiful piece of jewelry. :)

Do you just sell on here or have a shop? Just curious because im wanting to try it out on my daughter. She is a preemie and been trying to cut teeth for 2 months now and its been a battle. I hate giving her meds but she seems to be in lots of pain when they are trying to cut thru so im tryingto find other ways to help ease the pain.
