POPPY - Red Corn Seeds
Spectacular single flowers are carried well above the plants on willowy stems. This little red poppy is a wildflower in France. Use in mass planting or blend with other late spring,early-summer flowers. Excellent for naturalizing and in country gardens.
CULTURE: Scatter seeds in early spring where winters are severe, or fall in mild climates. Rake soil to lightly cover the seeds and keep moist until seedlings are established. Water only as necessary. Requires little care. Reseeds where adapted.
TIP: For cut flowers, harvest just as buds open and immediately sear stem base in a flame.
