Up for auction AS IS I never got to use this BlackBerry Touch Screen
I bought it used without a charger.
I thought I had one that would fit it but it was a different size.
I looked at a BlackBerry site to see what model this was and it looks like the BlackBerry Storm/Storm 2
I am not sure at all.
It does have an installed SanDisk 8GB inside
A 3,2MP Auto Focus Camera There is a CRACK in the faceplate its not shattered but has one crack
I can rub my finger accrossed the crack and not feel it but if I rub a nail accrossed it I can feel it faintly.
It has a very nice Black rubber/gel case with it.

Again, yes there IS a sim slot, but it would only be used if you were in Europe. Verizon uses CDMA technology, so the sim is not for use here in the states. The only providers who use sims here in the states are AT&T and T-Mobile, and perhaps some other GSM carriers that are smaller and that I am unaware of. As far as the red dot, please look to the right of the micro SD slot, and you will see what I mean. That is a water indicator. It is normally white but turns red if it gets wet. Trust me I know I have worked in the cell phone industry. Good luck to you in the auction.

REDanIRISH - You can do a data wipe by doing Options > Security Options > General Settings > (press Menu key - the key with the Blackberry symbol) > Wipe Handheld. The only way I know of completely redoing the OS is to hookup to Desktop Manager and reloading the OS. This would get it back to factory. I have these in my environment at work. Cool phone, but they will never be an iPhone, etc. because they are considered Enterprise phones, more like a phone for business. These are SIM-based phones and this is definitely a 1st Gen Storm. These were not great when they first came out, but if they are updated with the latest OS, they turn into a great phone! Good luck with your auction.

ESN is the number under that battery that is needed to activate it on Verizonwireless service. A bad ESN means that there is a bill owed or reported stolen...clean is just that...its clear to activate on another account. Hoe that makes since...any chance of getting that check? Thanks

I may or may not be re-stating something already said as there are a lot of comments to go through... but no it is not sim card based here in the states, but it should have a sim card slot for use in Europe. Also I couldn't help but notice the red dot, which usually means the device has been exposed to water. This may not have affected it though.

Verizon has cleared the ESN so its all good... btw...this phone can be unlocked to use on AT&T or T-Mobile service as well...my husbands is on TMobile.

Hey, I think is the Blackberry Storm 1, because the main keys, the buttons are highlighted, and the Storm 2 keys are completely flat and smooth

Yes thanks so very much we had figured its a Storm 1 and then I borrowed a charger and found out for sure that it works perfectly well it still has a thin hairline crack but it did not bother my finger at all I can feel with my fingernail a screen protector or otter box will make it 100% but I can use it without anything. It is a great used phone so good luck bidding : ) and thanks for the link I found a few more buttons to play with : )

This is one great piece of electronics I played with it all last night ahd had great fun I did not go to sleep until after 4 I was having such a good time with it. UPDATE THE STORM IS CHARGED AND WORKING
Its great looks like lots of fun lol you push the screen for options I am so used to iPods/iPads/iPhones I did not know how to work it at first

No I never got to try it out it did not have a charger I was hoping to use the charger from the BB Pearl but its a tiny bit larger than the one for the Storm.My son in law has a new BB and his charger is a bit larger too. With all of the gadits that we own I hoped something would fit it. I bought it because it reminded me of my iPhone and iPod so it looke like fun to me but since I do not have a charger that fits I lisrted it AS IS
