Description
The listing, Size 6 (maybe 6.5) engagement ring, 3 diamonds, 10 k white gold has ended.
This was an engagement ring, that I clearly no longer have sentimental feelings for. I did not get it appraised, but I assume my ex got it from Fred Meyer, since that is the box it came in. I am pretty sure I am a size 6 or 6.5 and it fits me comfortably. It is made with "wrapped around" 10 k white gold that holds three diamonds.
Questions & Comments
watching til the end like that i could have the last bid and win any chance you could take some days off?
I don't think I can take days off now that people have bid...but also, I wanted to give as many people an opportunity to see this. Since it is a higher end item, I didn't want it to go quickly without people even being able to see the auction.
That is a beautiful ring and I don't think it looks all that "engagementie." I think it would be great on the right hand. Please don't be offended by my question and perhaps it's already been asked, but are you sure those are real diamonds? I haven't ever heard of real diamonds being set in a 10Kt gold setting. I would think it would be at least 14kt. gold. Could you take it to a jeweler and just ask if those are real diamonds and the size, color, clarity, etc.? I know that's a lot of trouble, but it could be reassuring to bidders. Even if the diamonds turn out to be CZs, it would be a very nice gift for a girl's 13th birthday or something, since it wouldn't be such a problem if it were lost and if it turns out to be simulated stones it wouldn't really require insuring!!! I have no problem with CZs. I only wear CZ ear studs because I'm constantly losing them.
the reason I have it on here and not selling it is because I didn't want to get it appraised. That is why I am offering it for basically free...just tokens and shipping. I guess if it were the other way around, and I were bidding, I would bid assuming the worst, and then if you win, you can get it appraised.
That is a very beautiful ring.... and to buy it one would be paying $349.00 for it.... I am definitely watching ... maybe I can get in that last, winning, highest bid!!!!
