If you are familiar with the House of Night series by P.C. Cast, Neferet was the high priestess of the Tulsa House of Night, she turned from good to evil. This book tells the tale of Neferet when she was in her human form known as Emily Wheiler, and how she came to be at The Tulsa House of Night. It is a short novel, hence the term, Novella :) It was alright but I, like many others I'm sure lol, do not particularly care for Neferet and her evil ways lol. But the author did a fantastic job of describing her past in the book. I hope that helps :)
