Questions & Comments
I had a Coach purse on when I first started Listia. I bought it at an estate sell, and was told that her Mother bought purses all the time and they were mostly Coach. Someone came on here and told me the same thing, only my creed said it was made in China. I went online and looked up some background on Coach and found out that yes, they did outsource to other countries including China. Mine was a real Coach purse, so dont believe everything people say unless they can prove that they are a authoritarian with proof on Coach purses. Good luck Hun
Thank you so much. Yes you have to deal with these people that had one Coach bag and all of a sudden they're Coach experts. As Mary suggested I did Google Coach creeds and they have changed fonts, styles, etc. many times especially on the older purses and I do believe it is authentic. If I had a Coach outlet close I would take it in for them to verify, but I'm at the point where if someone likes bid, if not move on. Thanks again - believe it or not this has cause me some stress because I would never deliberately list a "fake" item.
My friend's mom passed away several years ago and she let me and another friend help ourselves to any of the clothing, purses, etc. before she packaged it up for Goodwill. Knowing her mom, which I did, she would never purchase a knock-off or fake so if it is in fact not a real Coach then she was taken in. As mentioned I don't know enough about the creeds, etc. so best I can do is give a little background on where it came from. I can tell you 100% my friend said her mom had this purse since she was little and Sally is now 56 years old so we do know it is vintage. Thanks.
I love the condition this bag is in for it's age. This small Hobo is a wonderful example of a well cared for bag, probably from the 70's. Incredibly well kept. Even if they think it's a fake. I want it!
