NO. 51 : "The Monster Society of Evil"
The events of the Crisis well under way, Hourman & Doctor Fate are searching for the missing members of the All-Star Squadron. As they enter the Justice Society Headquarters they find Hawkgirl, a prisoner of the Monster Society of Evil.
Hourman & Doctor Fate attack the Monster Society but are outnumbered & nearly killed by the Monster Society.
Suddenly Hourman hears a noise on the roof; it's Sandy who swings into the room, kicking Mr. Who into Nyola & somehow getting Oom off of Doctor Fate. Hourman uses Sandy’s gun to get pulled back to the roof, freeing him of Ramulus’ vines. Hawkgirl is soon freed & takes out Nyola & Mr. Who. Doctor Fate & Oom while fighting, suddenly vanish to appear later on the dark side of the moon.
Elsewhere, Johnny Quick, Liberty Belle & Green Lantern appear on an unknown world, curious about where they are until they see a very mad looking Captain Marvel flying towards them.
