Description

The listing, *Magical Garden* 7 Purple Hibiscus (Rose of Sharon) Seeds has ended.

Hibiscus is also known as the rose of sharon. It is a perennial in my zone (5) but it has come back yearly as I let it go to seed and it naturally resows itself. It also makes a great container plant. It can be grown as a bush or a small tree.

It is in the Mallow family. All of the plant is medicinal, and can be used as a laxative, diuretic, anti-bacterial, and because of its high vitamin C content, antiscorbutic (protects against scurvy) and a good choice when you have a cold or flu.

Hibiscus tea (which is delicious) is rich in antioxidants and protects the liver, stimulates the appetite, reduces fevers, soothes coughs and soothes and helps repair the skin.

It is used in treating the signs and symptoms of metabolic syndrome.

It has the same health benefits as drinking a glass of red wine and tea.

It also acts like an ACE inhibitor and lowers blood pressure.

It has also been studied for its anti-cancer effects. Human Gastric Carcinoma are greatly susceptible to Hibiscus extract. Promotes Leukemia cell death as well.

Has many, many more uses!!
