Up for bids is one Peace dollar it is 90% silver and a very beautiful peace of history, this is a 1923 D and it is starting to get a little color to it by toning and is in very good condition,the D mint mark is located at the end of the eagles tail. thanx for checking out my auction,good luck.

I have a question about silver as I basically started collecting silver eagles for melt down later when money is needed but does it matter when you see coins that have discoloring if you are going to use them just for the weight and melt down .......when sold off ---like do they give you less if there is discoloring ---i mean i don;t know why if they are just going to melt it

No you are a silver stacker not a collector and the color has little to do with the price of silver now if you are gonna be a collector you want them as perfect as you can get them, and some toning is considered pretty,but if you are collecting for price of silver it don't matter.
