Antique Old Timer hunting knife with Schrade blade. The knife is a lock blade but the lock is not working. Still a great collectible. Lock may just need oiling I dont know.

This one feels tight like it wants to lock. It might would if someone took the time to work with it.

Sometimes people like to oil the joint of the blades so they can open them more quickly, the problem is it works to their disadvantage when the blade no longer locks and starts to slip after locking up and becomes dangerous. If that is what happened to your knife the damage may be irreversible and will only get worse.
