The listing, Magnolia Seeds - 10 has ended.

Winning bid will receive 10 seeds or, if you send a self-addressed and stamped envelope, 15 seeds. I will also send to the winner (via Listia messaging) instructions for planting. Judging from the last picture, the seeds must be yummy to wildlife!!

The Magnolia is a very stately tree with glossy green leaves and large fragrant flowers in the summer that become seed pods in the fall. The specific type of Magnolia I don't know as the trees were planted long before I moved here.

You must be Listia verified to bid and upon winning the auction, you have 7 days to send a Listia verified address. Otherwise (as per Listia Rules), I will keep your credits and relist the auction. I'm all for the 1st amendment but rude comments will result in you joining my "block" party.

Wow! Things are getting "catty" here on Listia. Another seller is including this comment when he/she lists magnolia seeds: "It takes at least 20 seeds to get a magnolia tree to grow. i guess my competitors dont know that " It's a free country so anyone that wants to list these seeds can, but I think I need to defend my listing. I perform a super simple test on my seeds and eliminated those with low viability (that means they probably wouldn't germinate). Maybe if other people did that they wouldn't have to send at least 20 seeds to get one tree to grow.

Some people get strange ideas stuck in their heads, lol. Not all seeds will sprout, just like in my egg business, not all eggs hatch. Some are natures way of feeding something else.
