This is a two piece set,butter / sauce dish and one candle warmer stand. This set is in excellent condition. These dishes are decorated with the blue Yorktown design and trimmed in blue around the edges. This is heavy stoneware.
This item was made in the USA and is number 216. These two pieces together stand 4-1/2 inches tall. The Butter / Sauce Pan has a diameter of 4 inches and has a pour spout on two sides.
Great for corn on the cob,keep the butter melted inside the upper part and use a brush for the corn to spread it on.Great for keeping butter melted for lobster also. This pan stands 2-1/4 inches tall without the candle warming stand. The Yorktowne pattern was introduced in 1967. The Yorktown pattern was discontinued in 2005 in the US. Some pieces of this pattern are still produced overseas. There are no cracks, chips, or crazing. No signs of damage or defects.
It comes from a clean,smoke free home.I have to charge a small shipping fee due to the weight of the stonewear,but I do pay the majority of it.
