Description

The listing, BLACKBERRY PLANTS has ended.

Blackberry vines got loose in the back yard again. I am digging out a whole bunch! I will send you a small flat rate box stuffed full of roots to plant. I will dig them out the day the day I ship so they will be fresh!

If the is enough interest, I will put up more auctions for these plants. Trust me.... i have plenty and they are either going in the compost or going to somebody else! I got over 10 gallons of berries last season and that was only a small section of plants.

My husband has given up on the back yard, He finally realizes that it is going to be full of garden, fruit trees and berry plants. He's a tidy grass mowing kind of guy. =)

That I can do! However, there's a rule in my yard..... you need to be able to grow without much help from me because I am pretty good at killing things myself!

Have you planted your huckleberry seeds yet? I won some too, not sure if I should throw them in a hole in the ground or start them in a pot, lol. I won some blackberry seeds too, not sure what to do with those either, lol.

I haven't recieved the huckleberry seeds yet. I am hoping they get here in the next couple of days. I don't know how well black berries do from seed. Mine are definitely spreading through the root system!

I'm in Lacey Washington but am going to Peoria Arizona. I wonder if the plants would survive down there if it's shaded. It's been 109 there the last couple of days.

From what i can tell is the seeds that came from e-bay are pre-stratified and the ones from the other person are not so you have to put those seeds in the fridge to trick them into thinking they have been through a winter before they can be planted.

Wonder if you have to do that with other types of seeds gathered from the garden?

Good advice. I think I will try sprouting some without putting in the freezer and then do some after getting them cold. It will be a good experiment. When they get here anyways. =)

I would love to get some blackberryroots from you but live in AZ. It is extremely HOT now so I wouldn't plant them until the temp gets back i the 90s. I used to pick wild blackberries when I was little so I am excited to get some again. Please do relist several weeks from now! Thanks

I think they do ok in partial shade, but I think they do a lot better in full sun (6 hours of direct sunlight). Ok, I'm really wanting these, lol, I wish it ended a like 5 hours later than it is, lol, I'd have more credits!

Around here they do well in either. THese happen to be in full sun. But I see them all over the place in partial shade also.

Please do relist, I don't have the credit for these right now, and the money cost of the credits is pretty crazy. Maybe I will get some more credits by the time your re-list. Love love love berries!

I will certainly consider it if the bids show people are interested!
