25 Safflower Seeds gathered for 2015. This was my 1st year with these, and they were super easy to grow. They tolerate heat and drought and sprout quite easily and grew to about 3 ft tall with beautiful blooms. The seeds are quite nutritious but I actually grew them to use as a natural plant dye for cotton, birds and chickens love the seeds and the plant is also known for medicinal qualities. The original seeds were purchased from a Certified Organic Seed Supplier. I do not use chemical fertilizers or pesticides in my gardens so feel safe when bidding. As always free shipping I always give extras and another organically grown goodie from my garden :)
