Description

The listing, HP iPAQ rx1950 Pocket PC has ended.

Not too sure why this was flagged & erased before but here it goes again ....

I got this item on here a few days ago from a very sweet and lovely listia member, after I got it I was playing with it trying to figure it out and was just so confused with the software and normally I can catch on with a snap, this just isn't for me and I do not want it to go to waste so decided this is the best place to put it.

This is in PERFECT CONDITION, no scratches, marks, dents or anything.

It includes a black pouch, charger and booklet

Free Shipping if credits reach 3,000

I don't see any reason why this would have been flagged, but y'all need to know that just because someone flags an auction doesn't mean it will automatically get deleted. A moderator has to look at it and decide if it needs to be deleted, corrected or just left alone.

Good Luck...

It was deleted though and I had the same information I have up there now with pictures, they said it was against the rules in the e-mail I got, I really don't see how though.

That is a load of crap, i see tons of high bid auctions stating that there is shipping and they will offer shipping only if the bids hit a certain amount. This by standing users who have been here since 2009. If moderators are picking and choosing like this then Listia needs to recheck its moderators for being biased. Secondly We can say we are not responsible, That is what a tracking number is for. That is just common freaking sense, How am i going to do anything about your shipment after its left my hands. This is the only auction site i have ever been on with so much bias and idiocy towards other users that if i didn't have 6k credits to blow i would have deleted my account and never looked back. Which in any case once they are spent i most likely will as i have had enough with all the drama on this site. Moderators need to step up and do there jobs and if they delete an auction they need to offer an explanation as to why instead of just removing it with no reason and out of nowhere. This auction was flagged because some other user who is hosting an ipaq told her to "take it down now" because they could not handle the competition of a better ipaq going on the same time as there ipaq. So tell me how exactly is that fair when users can have there own reasons and agendas and a auction gets pulled, but if i flag a auction with a valid reason it never gets looked at and it never gets pulled.

THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU !!! Finally someone who sees things as i do, they need to step things up on here or it is going to turn into nothing but scammers, liars anf a waste of time. they need to overlook flagged auctions a bit more, i had an auction last week get to 15,000 credits with 50 minutes left and it was flagged and erased, like how bullsh*t is that!? Saying i didn't follow the rules YET it takes them until my auction is almost over to do that ? there were people waiting and bidding to get that

Wow, they're just giving you the complete run around coming from every direction! They really do need to step it up a lot. I like it, but it could definitely be a lot better too with just a few minor tweeks. Requiring tracking on every auction would be a great thing to add for the start too.

AGREED! Adding tracking to everything will make it so much easier to assure ppl get their items and that there are not scammers who actually DID get them but want to be greedy and get their credits back, it is sad.

I agree entirely, they need to revise there rules and terms page on shipments, as it is on both pages that the seller is responsible entirely for the package. Which is why i place a tracking number on everything i send. However there is a fine line between the sellers fault and the post offices. We should not get crapped on because of a bunch of lousy idiots who scam. Which never get handled. I have come accross several scammers in my mere two months of being here, yet are there accounts deleted, no. Just a deleted auction and a slap on the wrist. I hate to say it but if i win this it will probably be my last bid, i will just end up going for cash on craigslist or eBay from now on. I was hoping this place would be fun but its been nothing but trouble.

I agree, after my auctions go and I bid on a few items I want, I think I will be going BACK to eBay, atleast on eBay they eventually WILL take action if you have a problem, it may take a while but it always gets resolved.

Yayyy :) well I mean it is a win anyways, credits is not money, even though people give things away for them, i rather give old or unwanted things away for credits if i know i will never or won't get much cash for it, so it is a win for everyone :)

Reina, it got deleted when the mod looked at it because you stated conditions in the shipping. If you say $7.00 flat rate, then it has to stay that way, if you say free, then it can't be for a certain amount. Had the same thing happen to me, also we cannot say we're not responsible for the item once it leaves our hands, that's against the rules too. :/ Sorry your auction was flagged & deleted. I'm watching, I just wish the days weren't so long! My sis has a birthday coming, and she's taking care of our brother who is very ill, so she needs an electronic thing to keep track of appointments and meds. This would be perfect for her. :)

I understand rules and what not, but got take a look at 5 random auctions and I can bet you they will ALL say " free shipping it credits reach a certain amount " I have YET come across a ad that says otherwise if you have to pay for shipping, only ones that are already stated as FREE do not do that, so that isn't why it got flagged i know that AND i never ONCE said " once it leaves my hands it is not my responsibility " never ONCE i copied and pasted the same exact thing i wrote in my last one but just added that is was flagged, sorry to sound bitter but even my iPhone 4 listing was erased, when i go to my " deleted auctions" it says Moderator Deleted and i didn't get an e-mail or anything stating why, and i always do so does everyone else, they will always have an email sent stating WHY it was erased. Listia just needs to step it up a bit more.

Here's a word of advice, That might help you out, I have dealt with the same problem before on here, When a Mod deletes an auction they are to give a written reason for doing so, there have been a few bad apples in the Mod group that have not been going by these rules and have been deleting auctions for no reason, they are under investigation, that I know of, if you are having problems and having auctions pulled with no reason contact james@listia.com and report to him what had hapend, Now there is still good Mods on here that are doing there best to make it right for people on here, and are taking the weight on them because of the one's that are NOT doing the right thing like expected on here, that's what is hurting listia the most on here.

Just came back to check on bids. I agree with you, and J completely. I was just letting you know what lame excuses they gave me for pulling my auction. I did say that I wasn't responsible once it left my hands, but that I'd package it well, put d/c and insurance on it for up to a certain amount that way it was covered if it was lost or damaged. I don't know what more they want? It's not like I can go with the items and ship them around myself to make sure they don't get lost, stolen, or damaged, and I'm sure not going to go out and buy another just like them because I don't have that kind of money. I guess all we can do is appease them when they repremand us, but keep the emails of people who are trying to run it right, and make them aware of our issues. Maybe that will make it better. I don't know. I'm still watching your auction though.

Exactly, currently I have a dispute against someone, she claimed to have sent my items the 17th, I messaged her the 21st asking if it was sent, she said yes. I messaged again the 24th and she said they were sent the 23rd and I filed a dispute and wrote to listia. I got a e-mail from listia saying " seller claimed to have sent item to you, it you recived it please notify us " umm I obviously DIDNT which is why I was filing a dispute !! So they took my dispute down and I clicked " refund " AGAIN and messaged them AGAIN !! It is a bit ridiculous, she didn't add tracking or anything, so that is not MY problem that I didn't get it, but listia is siding with HER !? I am very upset, but I understand what you are saying. How ca WE be responsible once it leaves ? they need to make it manditory to add tracking even if it is just a gift card or a freaking lint ball, tracking should be required !!
