I was going to give you step by step instructions on how to test a sony code a few days ago, but it turned out that method doesnt work because Sony uvredeem now redirects to uvvu/redeem instead.

if you try flixster.com/getuv it may say valid without info if it is a multicode
vudu.com/digitalcopypromo might work to test (if it is uv redeem)

IF it is a sony code, you can test any sony code on vudu by testing it on ANY sony movie redeem link:

I am assuming sony, because those are common to not list name of movie. but other studios have done it in the past.

also IF it is sony [many but not all] 4 digit prefix of the code may indicate what movie it is from. there are a few movies that all share the same prefix. however depending on the movie you will know both the movie and the source of the code by looking it up on the sony index. But some newer movies and multi-packs share a common prefix.
