Lol I hate contracts too! I actually switched from an at&t contract to straight talk but got to keep the same phone. :) This Nokia phone can be switched to any carrier you want by unlocking it or you can keep it on AT&T :) Thanks, fanning back!

Is already an at&t phone so if you want to use it on an at&t network you won't have to do anything unless you want to put it on a contract - then you can get a representative switch it to contract

The at&t sales representative and the receipt says it's a windows 8. I'm sure it probably says it somewhere in the packaging or phone also. If you're talking about the grids on the home screen, that's the way I designed them. I pick how I want them laid out - it can be 2 rows or 3 or 4. It doesn't matter. I bought this phone a little over a month ago.

No the front camera is replaced with SmartShoot, which is a feature that takes multiple pictures and then lets you choose the best one and save it. Your pretty much guaranteed to get at least one good photo. You can hold it yourself or prop it up somewhere for that. It also has a cool feature called cinemagraph, which takes pictures and turns them into mini motion pictures. I pretty much only used it for photography, so I have a lot of good to say about it lol the quality is amazing
