This is an original pastel by Vivek Lakhotia (See LakhotiaNatureArt.com). Pastel is an image from our vacation this summer. The advantages of being married to him...I get to keep his 'practice' and 'playtime' art....which to anyone else are fabulous brag worthy pieces. :) silly husband

Please, what size is this work. I only buy art work of certain sizes so that is important to me. I'm sure to other folks as well.

Thanks tinae. It should frame out pretty nice. Please ask your husband if it should be framed with glass, shadow box frame, or no glass at all.

I guess it's hard for me to think about spending a lot of money on framing because it's such a rough sketch...he does his work to sell in oils after 'playtime'...but this website seemed to give just the right advice. http://www.creativespotlite.com/pastels/care-matting-framing-pastel.htm

Thank you, Samantha! It is so funny to share the action on Listia with my husband. :) He has artwork hanging in resorts in Florida like the SandPearl in Clearwater and the Turtle Reef Club in Jensen Beach.... but he is so thrilled with this little auction of scratch work he did on a lazy afternoon after our vacation.
