The listing, Vintage Craft Pattern - Wedding Veils & Headpieces - Uncut has ended.
Cleaning out decades of sewing and crafting supplies. Some of these patterns have been stored for upwards of 25 YEARS. All are complete, and uncut. The envelope just might be hanging on by the merest thread (some are QUITE battered and torn). They may have a musty smell (if you take them out of the envelope, open them out and put them in the sun for a few hours it will air out the musty smell) although none are obnoxious. Some have been out of print so long that the pattern companies have reused the pattern number 4 times!
This pattern is McCall's 5204 - a fine selection of wedding veils and headpieces. Uncut.
At this point in my life, I can NOT afford to offer free shipping. If you are not willing to pay the shipping charge, do not bid. It is that simple. Please don't tell me that you 'would bid if free shipping', because you are doomed to disappointment.
NOTE: I know that to some people, the fact that Listia auctions don't deal in 'real money' means they don't have to take them seriously. Sorry to burst your bubble, but these ARE 'real' auctions and if you can't or won't take them as such, I would prefer that you not bid on my listings, and PLEASE note in your own listings that it is a 'maybe' thing. You MIGHT send out the item, you MIGHT answer questions, you MIGHT change your mind... I left 'poor' feedback for one seller because it took her almost 10 days to send the item (Listia rules say 7 days - I ship the same day or the next one), and she ranted how I was 'a disgrace to Listia' simply because I wanted her to hold up her end of the contract. And don't get me started on the 'kids'... A minor (under age 18) can NOT enter into a legal contract - which these auctions are, and cannot be prosecuted for failure to fulfill their obligations. I don't want to deal with KIDS - you never know if they are going to follow through. Sorry, but it is true.
