I read in The description that it needs headphones to listen to music? You only need headphones for it if the speaker is broken.

Maybe there was more than one 2nd generation model, I'm not sure. This one can be put into a speaker dock or used with head phones.

Since it's an old generation are we able to put Listia and Facebook apps on it still? I'm asking because I want an iPad 3 on here and I could not get any apps on it because they said it was outdated. The person I wanted from did not tell me that but when I try to hook it up to iTunes that's what it said. I would really like to win this. But I like to know more about it thank you. :)

I'm not sure about Listia or Facebook apps. I do know that many apps are no longer compatible with this model. My daughter was using it for music only.
