I received this ring this past Christmas, & I've never worn it (I'm not a ring person, plus it's not my size, as shown in the last picture; I'm not sure what the size is). My uncle gave it to me from his job, which is a jewelry store. He gets good deals on jewelry there, so he decided to get me this. The stone is the October birthstone, but anyone can wear it even if you're not an October baby (I was born in December).

If the penny just fits inside the ring band, then it's a 9. But it can be anywhere from a 6 up.

Well the penny matches to entire loop of the ring (I thought that's what you meant by comparing it to a dime or penny). But if you're just talking about the inside of the ring, it's about the size of a dime.
