here is the info i found on this: Its from a small family farm. Only uses natural ingrediants, no dyes, chemicals or additives, Made with goat milk, honey, oatmeal, essential oils, lye, etc. cures for 6 weeks before sold. Lye is a natural disinfectant but not harmful to your skin when cured. Will last a long time. Does not suds alot because there are no additives to make the suds. Hope this was helpful.
