Description

The listing, New handmade washcloth and soap chips washbag has ended.

This listing is for ONE handmade crocheted washcloth and ONE matching handmade crocheted soap chips washbag of the color shown in the photos. Soap bar is for size approximation. SOAP IS NOT INCLUDED. These cloths are both great for exfoliation. The soap chips washbag is great for collecting small chips of soap, and they help to cut down on soap residue on your soap holder. Improving your skin circulation is a good thing for preventing fine lines and wrinkles, and for teens, it helps keep the skin clean and healthy. Both are made from 100% American made cotton yarn. Recycle your small soap chips by adding them to this little washrag bag. Get it wet, put in a bar of soap or some soap chips, and use it the same as you do your washrag. Start scrubbing with it and the lather will build up. The drawstrings make a convenient way to hang the bag on a hook. Wash in washing machine, regular wash cycle. Hand crocheted in the Cascades Mountains of Oregon.

do you have to remove the soap from the bag with each use or will it dry out hanging on a hook for reuse?

You can either leave it in or take it out. If you hang it on a hook, the weight of the soap will make the bag saggy... but it pops right back into shape after a run through the washing machine. 100% cotton, so wash and rinse on cold or warm, and fluff or hang dry to prevent shrinkage. But, I leave my soap in mine, and it's fine that way. The cloth sticks to the soap as it dries, but get it wet, and it comes loose again. And yes... this is the same cotton as is used to make dish cloths. They just make such wonderful washcloths to exfoliate your skin, and they are so pretty... but yeah, pick a use for them. The cotton yarns are so wonderful and versatile. :D

Cool! Thanks. I think you will like these. I like the extra grip on the soap that the bag gives... less dropping of a heavy bar of soap on my foot! ;)
