Depends on the phone's requirements. Tablets and some newer phones require a 2A output and will not work (or will, but are slow charge) with wall/car/portable chargers that are 1A output. If your device's normal wall/car charger is 1A then yes this will work with it.

Will this work for a Samsung Galaxy S 3 ? I'm just wondering about the USB ports? B/c in the pictures it appears that they might not work on my phone?

Galaxy S3 uses 1A so perfectly compatible.
And it's a USB charger. Anything with a USB cable can plug into it. It just gets tricky with the 2A output required of tablets/phablets.

When you say a power indicator I'm looking for what actually tells you how much battery power is left, not to tell you if its charged Or if its charged probably, I just wanted to clear that up.

Yes, these chargers are only 'fully charged' or 'charging' indicators. But the new 5600 charger I've listed (http://www.listia.com/auction/20300548-5600-portable-phone-tablet-usb-charger) has 0%/25%/50%/100% indicator lights.
