The listing, Stone Vintage Jewelry or Trinket Box has ended.

Up for consideration a stone (do not know what kind of stone) It has a rough feel to it and looks like marble. I've had this trinket box for over 30 years and now it needs a new home.
The box measures 6 inches by 3-1/2 inches and stands approximately 2-1/2 inches tall. The box has a few chips around the edges (see pictures)
It is pretty heavy.

now i know that you stated that you were not sure of the type of stone, do you think that it may be granite or marble possibly

I'm thinking either or it looks more like marble but it has a rough feel to it, but I really don't know for sure. It's very pretty. Thanks for your visit and question.
