We had a big storm a couple of days ago and this monster fell down from the top of the Live Oak tree. I took a photo of it next to my 12 oz bottle of hard cider. Can you believe the SIZE of it? This plant is currently blooming, so you'll get a lot of seeds free, too! You can pull apart this plant, and make even MORE smaller plants!

Easy to grow Ball Moss (Tillandsia recurvata) is a gray-green epiphyte found on tree branches. It grows in clumps 6-10" in diameter on most kinds of trees.They are able to convert nitrogen in air (which is unusable to plants) into a form that plants can use. Most plants cannot do this. All you need to do is water it occasionally - it does NOT need soil! It just needs something to attach itself to. Check out the auction photos of ideas for using the Ball Moss I send you.
