How very true that is! There's just something comforting about that little fur face to greet you when you've been away and snuggling up against you when you're sleeping and looking into your eyes like they know what you're thinking. Wow, that's really cool to even think about. My husband retired a few months ago and we have my 89 year old mother living with us. She has Alz. and dementia. It's rough! One day we plan to take our dream trip to Europe, but can't do it right now. After that trip is when we'll consider getting another kitty. Cat's are part of some people's lives and I miss it! Sorry to go on and on!
Wow, it must be hard to take care of her! You're a wonderful person to help her. My mother has type 2 diabetes and depression. She's only 50, but I still feel like I have to take care of her.
I hope you have a great time whenever you are able to go on that trip! And I also hope you find the perfect kitten. They truly are amazing. :)
