The listing, my chickens found this beautiful colored corn dried for seeds free shipping has ended.

You will receive at least 16 seeds enough to plant 4 rows of 4 stalks. That should give u enough corn to use as a harvest display. This is a beautiful Indian type corn of unknown name. It came from a local farmer a few years ago. It is not edible I do not think. I think it would be far too tough. But my chickens ate almost all of it dried as seeds before I found it. What you see are the only corn seeds I have left. Very large corn kernels. Blue, white, yellow, red, green.

Questions & Comments

I believe that this variant can be used to make corn flour, just like the blue type. I've never heard of it being used young, as a vegetable.

The farmer told me that this corn was used for decoration only. That is why I bought it from him. It is beautiful. However dried, my chickens do not care that it is for decoration! I am planning on getting more from the same farmer in a few weeks if he has some again.
