Yes I have and not all pineapples have the same amount of seeds. I germinated the seeds but they didn't do well for me. I currently have a very large pineapple top growing. I recently learned the trick for it to produce fruit.

I reckon it's in the ground vs in a pot. Dunno really. But I do know that you can grow full sized fruit from the suckers too.

I have a fluorescent bulb that sits on top of a wicker basket with wheels in addition to a large bay window and a bright table lamp.
MG soil is a BIG NO NO. It caused me to have fungus gnats and many others in my forum.

Not sure why it is being said that you can only attain full sized fruit from seeds. I have grown pineapple from tops in the ground (z9a). They produced full size fruit.

F&W....growing two pineapple now - didn't know about seeds. We cut the tops and are doing great. They love all the rain we've been having and have taken off since moving out where there is no shade. Anyone know about fertilizing them?

the top only produces a small version of a pineapple but the seeds will produce a full sized fruit
but l don't think people are really in it to grow fruit , l know l'm not , l just want to do it to see if l can do it
