The listing, Horsehair Southwest Design Vase/Pottery has ended.

A beautiful handmade, handthrown pottery vase, called a seed pot by the indians. It is hand thrown Russ Stillman, a pottery artist. It has horsehair on it, and from what I understand, after the pot is taken from the kiln, while still hot, they throw the horsehair on it and it makes its own design. This is a beautiful little pot, measuring 4" high. Quite a nice collectible and there is no chips, cracks or dents.

Better get in on this one.

Looks exactly like one I used to have, bought it in Arkansas directly from the artist. I don't believe this is the same one but it sure looks like it!

who knows could have been. I think this artist is quite different. His pottery has a texture to it which makes it so nice.

Wrong date, I bought mine probably ten years ago. may still have it packed away somewhere! I just had to bid on this one. I love the same stuff you do I guess! The arrowheads have been awesome!!!

This one is different than most. The artist does a very different look with his horsehair pottery. It has depth and it is handthrown not like so many that use a mold.
