The listing, Vintage Miniature Lacquered Gold Foiled Chest, Jewelry Box, Anything Box from Disneyland, Anaheim ! has ended.

There is no other word but gorgeous! I've never seen another like it. Label on the bottom says "Disneyland Resort Anaheim California and it shows a Disney copyright". I was told it was purchased in the 80's. It was 70.00 back then. I will leave the label attached. This chest is in perfect condition. A deep red, with what I would call gold foiling. The chest is made of wood. It is intricately yet delicately decorated. The gold work may be referred to as a Florentine style, such as the art developed in Florence, Italy back in the 16th century. It had to be done by hand. Each drawer is the same size. The inside of each drawer is covered with a very fine light green felt-very thin. The sides of each drawer when taken out of the chest (on the outside) are plain gold.
Measurements: 7-1/2" tall
6-1/2" wide (across the back where it's straight across)
2-3/4" deep (not including the curves on edge)
Inside drawers 1-3/8" tall
4-15/16" wide
2-3/4" deep

I honestly don't know. I have done what I thought to be a lot of googling and couldn't find any reference to this. Keep in mind, the label says "The Disneyland Resort" and it has the Disney copyright symbol, so you may be right or maybe they were the only distributor. But then why would their copyright be on it. Confusing? But, the price was $70. back then. I have checked ebay a few times-never saw anything like it. It looks bigger in the pictures, but it is lovely. It can fit in a bedroom or a living room. It looks brand new. Good luck! I am going to look up B & the B. thanks!

I'm beginning to see that Listia is a small world, as well. I see many of the same people at different times of my browsing! It's like "there's so-and-so", like I know them. But it's a happy little world where we have lots of fun with nice people. It took me awhile to find. Just heard of Listia about 3 weeks ago.I have so much fun. It looks like you do too!
