This auction was inspired by, what I first thought an odd request, but then realized was a piece of Canadian nostalgia for any of my American friends who may have spent some vacation time in Canada. Whether it was camping or car trouble (with a fix-it-myself Dad), there’s a good chance these will bring back some fond memories. :-)

Up for grabs is a lot of five (5) Canadian Tire Money five cent notes in varying degrees of circulated condition.

PLEASE NOTE - These notes are in circulated condition and you will receive the exact coins shown in the photographs. Coin easel NOT included. ;-)

INTERESTING FACT - Though Canadian Tire Money is issued by, and to be used at, Canadian Tire retail stores, over the years it has become accepted as a method of payment in some interesting places. In fact, the Ottawa Senators NHL hockey team just announced they are accepting Canadian Tire Money for food, beverages and merchandise for their 2014-15 preseason home games. Only in Canada, eh(?).
