Just after finals, Senior Year, I had a personal moment immortalized.All of that learning and information swirling around in my brain was just unleashed... and I AM DONE.
It's time for a nap. As long as Coach is busy with the other students, he won't notice as I pass out and dream about simpler times when not facing the responsibility of the future. Just as the school bell rings and notifies everybody that Summertime has arrived, I wake to realize that my study buddy had my camera and took a photo of my exhausted snooze fest. A bit later, in college for art, I couldn't help but commit this nap to pastel.
It's a part of my mother's collection now, but I have a first time print of this pastel to share with Listia.
