I removed a term from a few of your auctions. You cannot state that you are not responsible for safe arrival of the item or ensuring that items are delivered as described. For example, you cannot state "I am not responsible for this item once I ship it out". It is the responsibility of the lister to ensure the auction item gets to the winner. http://www.listia.com/rules#sh

I understand that but what if the post office misplaces the item? Thats why I also state that you as a buyer need to pay for insurance and or a tracking number I have no control o the item once it leaves my hands, I state this because over the Year or so that I been a member it has happened when the PO looses the packages, I keep my receipt from the PO as proof that the item was sent to the costumer.

You, as the seller, have to show a proof of delivery if the winner claims the item never arrived. A postal receipt isn't the best method because it usually doesn't show the address it was shipped to, just the zip code.

I totally get not wanting/being able to send delivery confirmation on all of your free shipping items, so do your best to pick and choose situations where it would be better to be safe. Items that go for a lot of credits, won by new users, or users who don't have stellar feedback. If you're asking the seller to pay for shipping it would be highly recommended to send it with delivery confirmation built into the shipping cost. You don't want to have to worry about refunding credits and a shipping cost. Proof of delivery is really your guarantee you'll keep the credits in a dispute if the winner says item never arrived. The dispute moderator will be able to see you've fulfilled your duties as a seller.

I know this is a lot of info. If you have any questions about what I've said here, let me know and I'll do my best to answer them.
