This ring was given to me by an ex who proposed, and then turned out being abusive. I am in a much better place now, and have started a beautiful family with the love of my life, and I just need to move on from that whole sad chapter. He paid 80.00 for this ring, and it is absolutely beautiful. It really sparkles in the sunlight. I LOVE the ring, but I would feel weird wearing it still, despite how beautiful it is. this would make a great promise ring, or a low budget engagement ring. awww i've as well been in that situation.. i have an 'engagement' ring still from my psycho ex.. a beautiful claddagh ring from ireland with a gorgeous emerald looking stone & tho i rather loath the guy who gave it to me.. i just can't bare to part with it, lol i dunno if i'm just weird but it truly doesn't give me memories of him at all.. but anyhoo.. this is very gorgeous & i agree as well i'm glad you're life has turned around for the better.. i'm currently with the love of my life now too & maybe when we tie the knot i'll consider passing on my ring lol

I am glad I am not the only one! lol..Since I had my baby 4 months ago..I just feel like I need to part with it..he was definitely a psycho..and now that I am in a better place..as much as part of me wants to hold onto it, I just have to pass it on..If yours doesnt give you the memories..you should keep it :) its only when it effects your negatively that you should get rid of it :)

It's a silver ring, with the pink topaz heart and then a small cubic zirconia stone below it. Thanks so much :) I am so much happier now, and to get rid of this is VERY hard, because there are so many strong memories attached, but it's all part of the healing process..and I am happy to pass it on :)
