2nd gen apple ipod 20GB,doesnt turn on,im guessing its in need of a new battery since it worked last time i used it a few yrs ago

im not trying to hurt your auction or anything buy honestly its probally not the battery. I had one and know other people who had one as well and the early generation ipods the hard drives in them arent that good...Once the hard drive goes out it is not fixable...I had a friend whos hard drive went out before her extened warrenty went out and they couldnt fix it they just replaced it with a new one.

thank you, I really don't know what happened with this I put I'm guessing it's the battery as I'm not very techy and it worked great before I shunned it aside for the iPod video,but I'll leave the auction up as is cause maybe somebody collects these or can use the other parts idk

you have to send it to apple to get the battery replaced, not cheap. and will only do it under warrenty.
