Description

The listing, Mexican Minuiature Watermelons has ended.

(Melothria scabra)
Auction is for my last 6 seeds. Start in pots or sow just below the surface in good, warm soil. Keep moist until germination and do not let dry out. This plant makes a vine and needs something to climb on. They are ready to pick as soon as the stripes appear. Tastes like cucumbers with a sour edge. The plants are very prolific. Can be eaten raw, put in salads or pickled.

They taste like cucumbers with a slightly sour edge when raw. I have not pickled any yet.

They taste like a slightly sour cucumber. You can eat them raw or pickle and are a show stopper in a salad.
