Description

The listing, Southwest Native american Indian Girl Gourd StorytellerDoll has ended.

This is a sweet little Native American style Doll made from a small gourd. It is made by Jan Smith, a top gourd artist in Texas. I have met her and her gourd dolls are excellent. This little one is marked on the bottom made by Jan Smith and the year 1999. It measures 5 1/2" tall and nice decoration and lots of babies on her made from little wood pieces. Very cute and collectible. Free to US.

Thanks. This lady is a great goud artist and this is one of the ones she did early on in her career. I have also done gourd dolls. They're kind of fun to do. I have one left which I might sell on Etsy sometime.

I used to do a lot of gourd dolls. Very similar to this. I just had this one, one of her first style. She does some beautiful gourds and wins all the time at the Texas Gourd Society shows.
