Bought these recently for our laptops and then realized they did not have microphones!! My loss your gain. 1 NIP, 1 used once. They have lights that are controlled by an adjuster on the USB cord. Ask any questions and I will answer as best I can.

how is the quality and how long did it take to set up?

Quality isn't bad, but not close to the top of the line. It is adequate for Skype with a separate microphone as it has none but it wont be breaking any records. It claims a 10x zoom, but I never figured that out as it didn't come with instructions. I bought them primarily so that my son would know that Grandma doesn't live in the ox (phone). lol

No problem, set up was fairly easy too. Clip on the computer or sit it on something and plug it in. It came up as soon as I opened Skype.
