2004 Proof Dollar Thomas Alva Edison Commemorative!!!

The year 2004 marks the 125th anniversary of Thomas Alva Edison's invention of the light bulb.
To honor this event, the US Mint produced the Thomas Alva Edison Commemorative Silver Dollar coins, offered in both proof and uncirculated condition.
Long considered one of the most prolific inventors of history—holding 1093 patents in his name, and having founded 14 companies, including General Electric—Edison’s crowning achievement was his invention of the light bulb. This significance of his life work was captured by the coin. Public Law stated that the coins “shall be emblematic of the light bulb and the many inventions made by Thomas A. Edison throughout his prolific life.”
Size is 38.1 mm round and the composition of the silver one-dollar coins is 90% silver and 10% copper.
Mintage of the Proof Silver Dollar was 211,055.

do you have a buy it now option for this item? I know one is not advertised, just wondering if you would accept one
Sep 27th, 2014 at 10:16:05 PM PDT by
Original
That option cost credits at the time you set the auction up. I did not have any at that time so it was not an option. And once an auction is started the option to add it is not there. You will learn this once you become an established seller. But thanks for stopping bye... Blessings. Charles.
