I crochet for charities and they like baby afghans to be at least 36 inches long. This one would be considered a car seat blanket or an incubator cover.

Pretty, would the pattern happen to be a free one posted online?

It's the average size for all the baby blankets crocheted that I have researched. Checked on 3 different sites, 2 site that only sells and a site that is like Listia. I make larger ones also. If I was to make larger ones it would have to have a starting bid of at least 15,000 I make these so that everyone has a chance to bid to win it. I will make a larger one and see how it does on here. I will let you know when I post. They do take longer to make. You are the first to make comment on size. Thank you

No....Please, I didn't take it that e way. I make blankets from 2 ft to 8 ft. There is a site that is homemade items only don't know if I'm allowed to mention since its kind of competition in a way. But that is where I looked up my info to decide what size to make. I use title baby blanket as a generic name for searching. Message me with your charity I would love to make a donation. Give me the specifics they need for size please. It's all good have a great weekend.

My grandma taught me 36 years ago and I have been crocheting ever since with the same hook she gave me then. God rest her soul.

Wow...the same hook?! I have to get a new one about once a year. I crochet tight and bend them and also wear the color right off. I've been told that happens because I crochet so fast, wears the paint right off! I don't even attempt using plastic ones as I snap them in half.

I'm the same way my pointer and thumb are black....lol I just recently bought these rubber things that slide on your hook, like pencil grippers. They work! Everyone says I crochet fast also. I'm disabled so I crochet many hours a day. The fastest I did was complete an 8ft square in two weeks. My hook my grandma gave me is my prize procession.
