New never been used. You get 2 ring sizers. Lay the long edge of the ring guard across the bottom of the ring, carefully, but securely bend one of the prong ends of the guard around the ring. Repeat with other prong. Once secure, the long edge (inside the ring) can be adjusted for a tighter/looser fit.
