There brand new the toes are supposed to be that way. No its not narrow. But if you have very wide feet it might be for very wide feet.

Are the scuffs and discolorations on the back of the heel of the boot supposed to be that way, too? I have never seen a pair of suede boots that were ever made with scuffs anywhere on the toes or the heels. This is very unusual for the Ann Taylor brand, which I am very familiar with because I wear a lot of their shoes. I have never even seen their boots in the stores with discolored toes or heels. Just sayin'.....
