Description

The listing, (3) plantlets growing in a pot - Mother of Thousands Kalanchoe Daigremontiana has ended.

The first picture is an example of how the MOT will look when it gets larger. The second picture is one of the babies from my mother plant (it already has babies on the edge of the leafs at 3" tall). The plantlets you will be receiving are similar to picture #3. To avoid them getting long and lanky like my mother plants in pictures #5 & 6, add dirt to the base of the leaves as they grow, this gives them a stronger base like seen in my 2nd picture. Additional information:

Mother of Thousands Care Tips
Mother of thousands (MOT), Mother of millions (MOM), kalanchoe daigremontiana

Origin: Madagascar

Height: Up to 2-1/2 ft (75 cm)

Light: Bright light to full sun.

Water: Water thoroughly, then allow top 2 inches of soil to dry out between waterings. Cut back on watering in winter, but don't allow soil to dry out completely.

Humidity: Average room humidity.

Temperature: Average room temperatures 60-75°F/16-24°C. It will tolerate extreme heat, but not frost.

Soil: Grows best in cactus potting mix.

Fertilizer: Feed quarterly with a balanced liquid fertilizer diluted by half.

Propagation: Easily propagated by the plantlets that fall off its leaves. Or, you can break them off and pot them in barely-moist cactus potting mix. The best time to propagate is in spring and summer.

Sent free, as always, packed well to bring healthy, strong plants to your happy home! Good luck if you decide to bid!!!
