No, I would never do that. I do not think you can add minutes to a live auction. Are you sure it was this auction? Are you bidding on another outfit? Sorry for the confusion.

No, I am not sure a seller can add minutes/hours to an active auction? On my first auction I tried to add a picture and was not able to. Sorry for the confusion.

I'm sure cause I have the highest bid at the moment.. it happened to me on another one yesterday and she said she added time so that's why I was asking. maybe lista has been having issues not sure

Firefly21, this is what I found in the FAQ section of Listia.

How do I edit an auction?
You can only edit an auction if there are no bids on it. The reason for this is because it would be unfair for any previous bidders if the auction information changes. This applies to both auction information and images. If there are no bids on the auction there should be an "Edit" button at the top right on the auction page when you are logged in.

Interesting, as I am fairly new to Listia; Unfortunately I am not sure what the end time was on this auction. I started 4 different auctions about the same time and tried to end them at different times. My first auction ended yesterday; I will pay more attention and write down all information when I list an auction.
I really do not think that would be fair to the current bidder to add minutes to a listed auction. I will check into this further and let you know if I find anything out. :(
