I have 28 14mm and 36 8mm new bloodstone beads.
If bids hit 500, I will incude a new bloodstone pendant bead with a sterling silver bail on it. If bids hit 700, I will include 2 pendant beads.

Bloodstone belongs to the Chalcedony group, which is a microcrystalline form of quartz. Its unique name is named after the fact that these beautiful inclusions of red spots on green resembIe splashes of blood.Other than its uses in jewelry, some cultures, believe that Bloodstone has spiritual and healing properties. Some subgroups of Native Americans believe Bloodstone to be a sacred stone and are used in spiritual gatherings. Some believe that these stones have the ability to relieve depression, boost feelings of well-being, and relieve various other physical ailments. In the Middle Ages, bloodstone was attributed special powers as the spots were thought to be the blood of Jesus Christ. It was used in sculptures representing flagellation and martyrdom.
Birthstone: Bloodstone along with aquamarine are traditional birthstones of Pisces (Fish): Feb. 19 - March 20.
Bloodstone is found in Australia, Brazil, China, India, Kathiawar Peninsula and the USA (Wyoming).
