The listing, Large Moonstone Teardrop Ring Sz 9 has ended.

This is a ring that I won here on Listia last year. It is a size 9 ring, hand crafted, with a large teardrop shaped moonstone. The stone is a milky whitish color. The ring is NOT STAMPED so I think it is made with nickel silver. The stone is 2 1/2" long and 1 12" wide. Pretty big!

FYI-I just looked back thru the past auctions and when I got this, the seller said it was 'prehinite'. Looks like moonstone to me. The seller also listed it as 'sterling' and it may or may not be. I never got it checked out. FYI

Yes, prehnite is a light green stone, this is definitely moonstone. Probably Mexican made, recent - they use a lower grade silver but don't mark it; mass produced but good enough for me!
