There are many reasons why it wouldn't work. Corrosion, dirt or grit Can get between the lenses, fog that can effect picture quality etc. I ask because it's a fair question. Especially, since you don't know much about the lens, as you've stated in your responses. And, because you've never tested on a camera body. I am not questioning your character as a person by asking that question...just the functionality of the lens. ; )

There is no fog , lenses are clear , no corrosion present , i had this on a camera and took a few pictures with it , i sold camera , i dont remember what make it was but the zoom lens worked , again , there is no corrosion present at all , no fog inside the lens , there are no visible scratches , the zoom movent moves freely , im told from a previous bidder that the values is around 40 dollars , it was bid on before but the buyer said his wife would not let him pay the shipping of ten dollars , before that it was listed here and winner never responded , this is 3rd listing , it is ten dollars to have it sent and it works .

Oh , and i see no dirt either, it appears to be very well cared for and clean , the pictures that i took with lens did nit indicate anything inside the lens and it is very clear when looked through with eye

ifyou look at the area where it munts on the camera the letters that show what mount it is is there it should show1 or 2 letters fd could be 1 set
